Frequently asked questions
How do I find a game or app?
Use the search box at the top of every page, or browse by category from the menu. Each page lists the version, the file size and a direct download button.
How do I install an APK on my phone or tablet?
Download the APK, open it from your notifications or file manager, and allow installation from this source when Android asks. If the app needs an OBB/data file, copy that folder to Android/obb/ before launching. You can also download on a PC and copy the file over USB or Wi-Fi.
The app will not install or crashes on launch
Check the minimum Android version on the app page, make sure you have enough free space, and remove any older version first. Clearing the app cache (Settings › Apps › the app › Storage) fixes most launch problems.
How do I find my Android version or processor?
Settings › About phone shows the Android version. The processor (chipset) is listed under Hardware or Processor on most phones; apps like CPU-Z show it in detail.
What is the “cache” and where do I put it?
Some large games ship their data separately. Unzip the archive you downloaded and move the folder to Android/obb/<package name>/ on internal storage, then start the game.
Do I need an account? Is it free?
No. You can browse and download without an account, and using AABforAndroid is free.
Why does the button open Google Play or another website?
When we do not host a file ourselves, the download button takes you to the app’s official Google Play page or to the website where the file is published. Those websites have their own terms and privacy policies.
Is it safe to install an APK?
Only install apps you trust. Check the permissions an app asks for before you install it, keep Android’s built-in app protection (Google Play Protect) switched on, and keep your phone updated. If a file looks wrong, tell us through Report Abuse.
An app is out of date – what can I do?
Press “Request update” on the app’s page. It tells us that visitors want a newer version and helps us see which apps need attention first.
