What's new v0.9.1
Opening a note no longer counts as editing it. A note you open and close without changing stays where it was, and on a shared note it can no longer overwrite a change someone else made while you had it open.
New screenshots, in all three themes.
About keepIT
A fast, private notes app. Your notes live on your phone, and on your own server if you want one – never on ours.
Open it and start writing. No account, no setup, no connection: everything is stored on the device first, so keepIT is instant and works offline. When you want the same notes on your other devices, run the free and open-source keepIT server and they sync in real time. You can start without one and connect a server later – your notes come with you.
- Notes and checklists, with Markdown as you type
- Voice notes – record one and play it back, straight from your list
- Photos from your camera or gallery
- Reminders that fire on time, offline and with the app closed
- Colors, pins, lists, archive and search to keep it findable
- Share a note with someone to view or edit (needs a server)
- Home-screen widget, and text shared in from other apps
No ads, no analytics, no tracking.
